In other words, either replace all the black bits with white or vice versa.
The current winter jacket looks great IMO.
Ideally we should have two kits, a green/yellow/white one for when the sun is shining, and a green/yellow/black one for when it's pissing down. Or maybe just have a white-based jersey and a black-based gilet.

+1 also with regards to a more predominatly black or white jersey, with minimum green.

We should also insist on fabric samples in our chosen colours from the manufacturer, as you cannot tell from a screen or a printout what a colour looks like in real life.
At this latitude we have a lot of grey light, so even though I'vd said it before, we can't have grey, brown, beige or any earthy, murky tones in the kit.
They don't photograph well either.
Full zip on the jersey is good too.
Seems most people want a kit resdesign, but Ian is right, it is yet more expense.
How about making the most of what we have?
Replacing fthose hideous faded out jerseys from years past, washing shoe covers?(!)

Any comments/thoughts/suggestions welcome.
Oh, sponsorship is there just to complete the look.
EDIT: Ok, even with the image tags it doesn't seem to want to display. Nuts.

First one is variation on one of Liams. I reckon reversing the black with the white for winter jackets would be in order for something like this:
And here's another:

The main argument for black seems to be that it shows the dirt less, but there's a simple alternative - wash your kit after every ride, like a normal person.

1. It's not easy to pick people out. I watched 2 stages of the ras at the weekend and I couldn't pick out our very own Odhran Connors wearing the Wexford kit. I'd usually have a bit of an eagle eye for the Orwell jersey. It's easier to pick out a bright jersey like a cycleways red.
2. I think it's a bit dangerous on a dull day or in the evenings. A black kit is not easily seen by cars and anything that could compromise a riders safety is not a great idea in my opinion. I noticed a lot of club members were riding home from club league races with sub standard lights and didn't bring a high viz jacket.
As for a professional designer - this may be an unnecessary expense. I think the design companies have templates of the pro kits and you can change the colors. The Orwell jersey was a copy of the CSC gear from about 7 years ago.
If it was up to me i'd go back to an updated version of a retro orwell jersey from the 80's or early 90's. It could be a bit like the Bianchi Kit only not a florescent turquoise.

The green and yellow one is nice and bright.
Could we have some pink in there too?
(That is not a girlie thing, I just think it would look more colourful, and would be easier to pick out in a crowd).
I really think at least one woman needs to be on the design committee.

I think that we should get a women once off kit, like the Bray wheelers did a couple of years ago, since there are so many ladies in the club.

Agree black is bad unless used sparingly.
As for pink...looks good on pro bodies on the Alpe d'Huez but not on a hairyl legged vet on the N11 going for a spin!!
For me the big thing is featuring "Orwell" prominently, proudly and emphatically. On the current kit it's easier to find the "made in China" label!
I know we need to make room for the sponsor but I've always felt uneasy with so little of my kit suggesting to Joe Public am an amateur rider.
