A reminder that the second bike skills course starts Sunday 19th November in Corkagh Park at 1230 and a reminder of all the dates.
Sunday 19th Nov 12.30pm-2.30pm
> Sunday 26th Nov 12.30pm-2.30pm
> Sunday 3rd Dec 12.30pm-2.30pm
> Sunday 10th Dec 12.30pm-2.30pm
Please make sure to wrap up well and to bring 2 water bottles
Please also bring €20 to cover all skills sessions
We had a great mix of experienced and new riders on the first course and as well as learning a lot also had a lot of fun on the course

The first week skills will include
-
- Bike M Check.
- Goup riding 2 abreast & singling out.
- Drinking and eating on the bike and in the group
- Riding close together shoulder to shoulder; use of cones
- Looking behind while cycling, individually and then in the group.
- Hand on shoulder of rider beside them and then individually standing up and looking behind.
- Using gears.
- Use of brakes-
- Using brakes on top of bars and in the drops.
- Balance bike in the drop zone.
- Balance and intro to cornering. Cones, slalom and circle
