Casual club gear

Hey,

Any chance more of this gear might be going back on sale anytime soon? I was away for a while and have only just seen this now.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you - I just saw your post now.

The first casual gear order should be arriving in the next few days so we will be able to judge peoples reaction and the demand for a new order in the new year. Keep an eye on the forum for details.

For those who have ordered already you should have gotten an email from Shadow today to say your order has been dispatched:) If you have opted for the delivery to "club rep" rather than direct delivery, I will let you know when they arrive and we can arrange collection.

We should all be very Orwelly dressed for Christmas!

It's fabulous and will look great on members at social functions and on Club trips.

Ironically, John and myself are still waiting on ours so we haven't seen it yet!!

Gerry - I'm hoping it will come today. Shadow thought I should have had it yesterday or today as they were all sent the same time.

Woo Hoo - the casual gear is here!!!

We might be slightly biased but we think it is great:)

The bad news is that as it is so close to Christmas it will be difficult to arrange a collection time. John is heading to Cork tomorrow, I am working tomorrow and Christmas Eve before I head to Kildare for a couple of days.

For those who can wait John will bring the gear to Corkagh Park on the 2nd of Jan for the Cyclocross Champs.

If there is anyone who cant wait until the 2nd drop me a text or email and I will see what I can do. I will be panic shopping in Dundrum tomorrow night so I could throw some of the bags in the car if you get in touch in time. Other than that I will be back up in Dublin on the 27th. There is no gear to collect in Joe Dalys so don't call in looking for it please! Its too close to Christmas and the lads have very important work to do this week ;)

Yay Santa left me some casual Orwell gear, really plush and strong branding. The jacket was class in a horrible cold stiff gale test :) A really great standard of sporty clothes so thanks to Louise and John who I think did a great job.

For those that haven't ordered casual clothing, myself and Louise will be at Joes tomorrow night as part of the club kit collection night with a selection of the casual kit that people can take a look at.

For those that are interested, you can then place your order via the website that night.

We had a lot of interest in the club casual gear tonight. Thanks to everyone who called over to have a look.

Delivery for this order is approx 5 to 6 weeks from when we close the web shop.

I have had a couple of emails asking about sizing for the casual gear. Unfortunately we don't have any samples for people to try on at the moment but if you click on the individual items (NOT THE COMBO PACKS) on the website there is a good size guide.

For example - the showerproof jacket sizes:
Male Jacket – Chest Widths
XS – 94cm
S – 102cm
M – 110cm
L – 118cm
XL – 126cm
2XL – 134cm

Female Jacket – Chest Widths
XS – 92cm (Size 8)
S – 100cm (Size 10)
M – 108cm (Size 12)
L – 116cm (Size 14)
XL – 124cm (Size 16)
2XL – 132cm (Size 18)

A few people have asked about the delivery date for the club casual gear.

It was supposed to be this week but unfortunately there has been a slight delay. They tell us that it will be in the country the start of next week and they will express the deliveries out so it should be in our hands by Weds/Thurs.

If you went for the "Collection from Club Rep" option we will let you know the arrangements for collecting the gear closer to the date.
