It’s definitely not getting any quieter in the world of Scott-Orwell Wheelers. After the busy Easter weekend I mistakenly thought we might be in for a quiet weekend – not a chance!! Read on for a brief outline of what’s happening in the Orwell world for the week starting the 7th of April:

LEISURE

Leisure training groups for the Wicklow 100, 200 and the Mt Leinster Challenge all start this weekend. If you have signed up for one of the groups you should have heard from your group leaders. Check out the forum for more information.

YOUTHS:

Saturday 7th:

RACING:

Saturday/Sunday 7th and 8th:

The Youth Tour of Scotland sees two Scott-Orwell Teams in action. Our Boys and Girls teams will take on some of the best cyclists in the UK and overseas in this testing race. Follow the action on Youth Tour of Scotland Info

Sunday 8th:

The IVCA (Vets) racing this weekend will take place on the Summerhill circuit.

The Cycleways Cup in Navan will see a lot of our racers in action again this week. The season is definitely on now!

Tuesday 10th:

The Orwell Women’s Crit League, sponsored by Appleby Jewelers, starts with the Time Trial stage at Black Bull. Sign on will be from 6pm with the first rider off at 7pm. Womens Crit League Info

Wednesday 11th

Round 2 of the Scott-Orwell Club league takes place at Corkagh Park this week. The Limit and Semi-limit riders are on Wednesday night.

Thursday 12th:

Racing in Corkagh Park for the Scratch and Semi-Scratch groups in the Club League

OTHER:

Monday 9th:

The second of the sizing nights for the womens specific club kit. Join us in Joe Dalys from 6.30pm to 8pm. Womens Kit Sizing Evening

Wednesday 11th
