Thanks Luke,
The team are under strict instructions to 'get in the tweets' and Dillon did just that today!
There were three categorised climbs today over the 117k stage, and despite plenty of attacks, the riders arrived together for a sprint finish into Barefield.
The Scott Orwell Team finished safely in the bunch and spirits are high ahead of tomorrow's 102k stage which brings them out to the Clare coastline.

Stage 3
Grand start to the day although the bunch went the wrong way after 55km which made the stage 10km longer. We were restarted at the bottom of the Cliffs of Moher climb. It was hard restarting just before such a hard effort but managed to stay in the main bunch. There were over 20 riders in the breakaways and I finished 27th on the stage. Dillon Ryan from Clonard finished in the bunch with me and Marcus Wexford Wheelers was shortly behind.

I actually think I know the turn in Lahinch that you missed - there was confusion there for some riders in Rás na mBan a couple of years ago. Sounds like a tough day out, but a great result at the end - 6th in the gallop!
You're over halfway there now and the weekend starts tomorrow, so you can relax then. For now, up the road! Show us old fogeys how it's done!

Well done Sean and the other lads donning the Orwell colors this week. You're doing great!
A bunch of 100 teenage boys knocking the living daylights out of one another is absolute lunacy and savage craic! You'll look back on the race with fond memories and you can be assured that some of those guys you're racing against will end up in the pro-peleton.
At the end of the week try to imagine what riding a 3 week tour would be like.... imagine how much food you could eat!
Best of luck for the rest of the week - Be aggressive and make sure your positioning is good so you don't miss any big splits.
Incidentally, thanks to the helpers who have given up their time this week too. You know who you are! (Can't find the thumbs up emojii)

Sean was perfecting his Ras stare this morning at breakfast when talk turned to today's stage.
'Is that climb long or steep?'
'Both.'
Very tough day and Dillon has the war wounds to prove it! Really strong riding by Marcus today and Sean battled on despite a mechanical requiring a bike change.
All three are in great form and looking forward to tomorrow.
A results sheet does no justice to how hard these boys are fighting!
Thanks for the messages of support, they're greatly appreciated :-)

Stage 4 Wild Atlantic Way
It certainly was wild today after 15km Marcus and Dillon crashed. Dillon needed a new bike but Marcus could keep going in a chase group. Just 14km after that my rear derailleur cable frayed which meant I was stuck in the 18 at the back. I got a spare bike but the pedals were wrong. I felt like Chris Froome but quickly realised I would be on the bike for 80km instead of 500 metres....
We all finished together in the groupetto. With the bikes fixed we can't wait to attack tomorrow.

The boys were keen to attack from the gun so they avoided a nasty crash at the start of the stage by being close to the front and away from the pile up. The race split to pieces then, but our lads were tucked away safely in the bunch.
There were further crashes but the lads managed to successfully avoid them all.
Dillon suffered today, having skinned his arm from his wrist to his elbow in the spokes of another bike in yesterday's crash. He battled bravely throughout the stage but he lost contact with the main bunch on a killer CAT 2 at 80k. He got into a good working group and finished only a few minutes down.
Marcus dropped his chain on the same climb and chased hard but didn't regain contact. He felt good all day and has gotten stronger as the week has gone on so hopefully he'll have a strong finish tomorrow.
Sean was feeling strong today and rode comfortably in the main bunch until the aforementioned killer CAT 2! He chased back on and regained contact with the main bunch until the CAT 1 up which today's stage finished.
Strong riding by all. We're having a Leinster TEam dinner tonight which will hopefully inject some much needed energy into the lads ahead of tomorrow's final stage, the 78k Ennis Circuit Stage.

The boys finished up on Sunday with a 77k crit in Ennis. All three held their own in the main bunch and finished safely.
I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who offered support during the week, in particular Joe Daly's, Dave Mc and Fionn.
Thank you to Pam and Pat Ryan who were on hand with bottles and gels on the road during the week.
Thank you also to Luke Keating, our mechanic who kept the boys' bikes in perfect working order during the week.
Congratulations to Sean, Dillon and Marcus on a very successful Junior Tour. The future is bright!
