Special thanks to Dave Mc who finished glueing my tubs at lunch today especially for tonight.
Am I the first Corkman on an Orwell podium....?
Thanks to everyone tonight.
Well done Zippy Murnane, very strong where it counted. No answer to it.

As far as I know though the first Corkman to win an Orwell club title was Martin Hensey- he won the 25TT, 50TT, 100TT and Hillclimb in 1949 and '50.

Not even close I'm afraid. Myles Kirby placed in Road race, Hill climb and League overall in 2006, '07, '08 and '09. Aideen Collard is at this moment arguing about the definition of "Corkman", but she placed in League, 10TT and Hillclimb in '05, '06, '07, '08, '09 and '10.Am I the first Corkman on an Orwell podium....?

How do we go about getting the 50TT and 100TT reinstated? As far as I know though the first Corkman to win an Orwell club title though was Martin Hensey- he won the 25TT, 50TT, 100TT and Hillclimb in 1949 and '50.

Did anyone pick up a pair of arm warmers at the start line last night? I left a pair behind. Thanks

The main difficulty is the hours of daylight, it would be tricky to fit in a 100 on a weekday evening after work. And if you brought the 100 back someone would inevitably ask about the 200 and the 12 hour...How do we go about getting the 50TT and 100TT reinstated?

That's a 6 hour long marshalling duty you've just volunteered for, so consider your offer gratefully accepted! If they are, I'll marshall!
