Cycling Ireland Vacancies

Hi folks,

You all would have received a notice from Cycling Ireland about the AGM being held on 30th September in Carrick on Shannon. ( Details ) As well as the usual AGM with reports, motions and elections, there will also be a vote on adopting a new constitution for CI.

We are entitled to send ten (10) delegates to represent the club (by far the biggest in the country, the next biggest are Bray and Phoenix who send 6 each). We can also submit motions for consideration at the AGM. The committee have received a number of proposals already, but if you have a suggestion please send it today as the deadline for submitting to CI is 4pm tomorrow (Friday 11th).

Cycling Ireland have an EGM on Monday 27th November to elect a new non-executive director.

Orwell Wheelers are entitled to have ten (10) delegates represent the club.

Some of the committee will attend, however there will be delegate positions available.

Cycling Ireland have announced the creation of three new roles, created to aid and assist with the continued expansion and development of the sport within each province. 

The positions available include a Regional Development Officer for  Leinster (Full-time).
