Introduction to Racing Session, Corkagh Park, Sunday September 25

Hi everyone,
I'll be running an introduction to racing session on Sunday in Corkagh Park at 9am. If you're interested in racing next year, this might give you a bit of a feel for what's involved. The plan is to mix instruction with practice drills and mock races.

Since the Youths have the track at 10am, we can move on to the road and do a few more exercises then if people still have an appetite.

The main focus will on bike handling and bunch riding during a race. We’ll then look at some basic race tactics, as well as explaining the different race formats used in the club league. For those of you completely new to scene, the club league is a series of races for Orwell Members on Thursday evenings during the spring and summer months. 

Open to all Orwell members or people planning to join Orwell (provided they have a Cycling Ireland licence). If you're interested in attending, maybe leave your name below to give me an idea of numbers. We'll probably need a minimum of eight to make it work.
