** Thank you Fergal - Club President **

Follow on from the resignation of Fergal as club president, we as the club committee, would like to take this opportunity to recognise and acknowledge all the work and personal commitment Fergal has given to the club through the years. Fergal has held a number of positions and has played a major role in many club activities, in particular making sure that the Randonnee took place in a safe, structured, organised, and professional manner for many years. His behind-the-scenes work to distribute and allocate marshalls around the route is legendary and a good example of where his hidden efforts resulted in perfect delivery on the day. I know that Fergal was honoured to hold the position of Club President and even though his tenure was short it's something appreciated and valued very much. On behalf of all the current and past committee and club members, we would like to thank Fergal for everything he has done for the club and look forward to cycling with him in the peloton for many years to come.

We’d also like to welcome our new interim president, Denis Gleeson who will occupy the role until the upcoming AGM. Denis has fulfilled this role in the past with great success and we look forward to working with him.
