Lara Gillespie has just been presented with the award for Female Rider of the year. What a lucky club we are to have such talented members.

Lara is on a flight at 6am in the morning to compete in a CX race - that's dedication.

Just when we thought it was all over!!! A second award for Lara Gillespie tonight - this time a Special Achievement Award for her amazing results across various disciplines.
Well done Lara, we hope you get some sleep tonight before your early flight;)

So that's it from the 2018 Cycling Ireland Awards for us.

What a night! Nominated in 3 categories and we took away 3 wins as well as the National Women's Road Series overall prize. See the posts above for each of the individual awards as they happened. Thanks to Fergal O'Sullivan and Stephen O'Shea who kept me in the loop and in photos all night.
