Sprint Skills Session with Ex Pro John Brady was created by Stephen O'Shea
Hi Guys. I have organised a high level sprinting skills session with one of the best Irish sprinters. Back in the day John Brady won many short distance races in Ireland and was rewarded with a professional career in the USA. He raced for the 7 Eleven pro team for a number of years and now has returned to Ireland. ( still winning )
On October 10th we will host a group session for a number of riders. 4 Juniors will be chosen by Dave Mac. We have 4 women ,4 vets and 8 places for the rest of the bunch to allocate.
We will have an email application where you will have a chance of selection. Let me know if you
(1) Raced in the 2015 season (2) Got ranking points or upgraded.
(3) Past ability (4) Raced and preformed in the Club league.
There will be a €10 fee as normal on the day for all except Juniors selected.
Lastly don't be afraid to apply as we may hold a 2nd event . Stephen O Shea

Great session this morning very pleased with all the participants who put in a huge effort. John Brady's detail on how to sprint and how to have faith in your own ability was reinforced with plenty of tips.
I do hope this was of help to all and more session can be organised if requested.

Thanks for organising this Stephen. It was great to get some tips for someone of John's calibre. He had some very insightful advice and I learned a lot more than I expected.
The sprint session was quite enjoyable, despite all the puking

Was a very interesting session, great to get advice from someone who knows sprinting through and through. Would love to do more if they are organised!
