Saturday morning yellow spin, Joe Daly's 08:30

NB, Leaving Joe Daly's this time.

I'll be doing a yellow paced long hilly spin from Joe Daly's on Saturday morning at 8:30. Any faster types are very welcome as long as you're happy with a recovery spin pace.

The route is Joe Daly's, Kiltiernan, Coast Road, Ashford, Easy Devil's Glen, Coffee & Cake in Roundwood, Djouce, up the waterfall/Liam Horner to featherbeds and then back home.

About 95km and 1,500metres of climbing.

The last three weeks' spins have averaged 22.3, 25 and 24 kph. It just depends on who turns up and we either go at the speed of the slowest or split the group into two by speed depending on numbers.

I'm really sorry about the short notice but I won't be able to lead this one. I wouldn't suggest canceling if you were planning on going as there were 9 people last time and plenty of people who would know decent routes for a long spin.

My wife just got funding a few minutes ago from work for a Master's degree. Which is starting with a 3 day introduction session tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday.
Talk about last minute decisions.

So good news for her but bad news for my cycling ;)

INAR are going out at 9 am and are doing a hilly spin with a shorter option if you want to combine the two groups.

I can't this weekend but am really hoping to be back out the weekend after, so I'll keep an eye on this thread :)
