Coaching nights/workshops

It's that time of year again- next Tuesday the 1st of February Dave Tansey will be running a workshop on 'Puncture repair and basic maintenance' in the scout hall Dartry from 19:30.

Do bring your bikes, the more messed up and unroadworthy they are the better.

We're planning to run 2 or 3 more talks between now and Easter, nothing set in stone yet though so if there's anything that you'd particularly like to learn more about let us know.

Hello there David - thanks for organising this training night.
I would like to know how to tighten brake cables, how to remove greasy gunk from the wheel rims, is it better to turn bike upside down to clean it, how often you should degrease and re-oil the chain, and finally - is it safe to hose down the wheels (but not the frame).
