Just in case anyone was in any doubt, all road spins for tomorrow are off.
A number of roads in South Dublin and Wicklow didn't thaw at all today, and tomorrow seems likely to be a fair bit worse, so I'd strongly advise against anyone going out on a road bike at any stage tomorrow.
There are three alternatives that I can think of off hand- Hillwalking, Mountainbiking, or possibly most attractive of all, spending the day indoors.
I'll be going for a hillwalk leaving from Lamb's cross at 10:00 for about 2-2.5 hours, anyone who wants to come along is welcome to join me.
If anyone wants to organise an MTB spin I'd suggest the Phoenix park or Three rock. The Djouce road apparently remained dangerous all day today so going as far out as Ballinastoe is probably inadvisable.
Whatever you do, have fun and stay safe.
