Zoom Discussion

Just became aware this evening of an interesting discussion on Zoom about nutrition and training. 
Didn't see anything about this on the forum, did I miss it? or where was it announced?

Haven't seen it Gerry.
Would have been very interested myself.
Was it an Orwell event, I wasn't aware?
Was it communicated anywhere?

A number of people I spoke to this morning were not aware of it either.

It was posted a number of times on the WhatsApp group.

I've only ever seen one message on the Pinergy Orwell Wheelers CC WhatsApp group.
That was from Brian back in Oct about the AGM.

It wasn't on the Club League WhatsApp either?

Thanks Fran, on which WhatsApp group was it posted? The only group I am a member if is the one we were all asked to join some time ago, but I have yet to receive a message from it.

I stand corrected, john.  I also got one message from the Orwell Wheelers group about the AGM.

Gerry you mention a phantom WhatsApp group and John you mention: Pinergy Orwell Wheelers CC WhatsApp group & a Club League WhatsApp group. The only Club WhatsApp group that I'm a member of and aware of is "Orwell Wheelers Leisure" I learned of the session via this channel. 
 

The problem with that group Rob is that there are only 375 people on that WhatsApp group. Assuming all those people are current members you still have 200 - 300 odd members (even after excluding youths) who are not on that group and a lot will not even be aware of the groups existence in the first place. That's just due to how big Orwell is.

Unfortunately this means if you advertise/communicate something on the Orwell Leisure WhatsApp group and don't post it on other places everyone has access to i.e.the club site and forum you exclude a huge portion of the club from the event. The same argument goes if you replace Orwell Leisure with Orwell Club league, Orwell racing etc.
