Group Spins

This topic has been mentioned a number of times on the forum but there are still people who do not abide by the rules of the road.

This morning I was on a spin with a number of colleagues from work when we came upon a club spin, the group in question were coming back in from Enniskerry direction around 12.00 -12.15. The group were a bit in front of us, some people in the group were under the impression that 3 a breast is acceptable - IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

When you are on the bike you are representing all cyclists and when you are in Club colours you are directly representing the club, the sponsors.

In case people think "it's not that bad" or "people are exaggerating" well have a look at this photo. It was posted to a Greystones facebook page this morning with all the usual complaints & comments.

PLEASE obey the rules of the road!!

I think everyone is starting to pick up bad habits and need to learn how to cycle in a group again.
Maybe it's time for the club to get everyone to go on the refresher course.
