If you have found yourself getting extra emails from the forum where you didn't before, and want to stop getting them, read on!
There was a change to how the underlying software of the forum works recently. When you are posting a new message on the forum, there is a box below the attachments where you can choose to be notified of further replies:
Previously, this box was not ticked by default and this was a global setting that an administrator could set. It has now changed to a user setting, that each user needs to set. If you would the box to be unticked by default again, follow these steps:
1 Log in to the forum.
2 Click the 'Profile' tab in the top set of tabs.
3 Click the 'Edit' button at top right.
4 Click the 'Forum Settings' tab within that screen.
5 Set 'Select subscription as default' to be 'No'.
6 Click 'Save'.
You're done!
