National Road Race and Time Trial Championships

Dear club member.

It's official Orwell Wheelers Cycling Club will host the National Road Race and Time Trial Championships on the weekend of the 23-26 June.

The start / finish will be in Blessington and a better venue we could not have chosen. The lakes in Summer time will add to the beauty in the garden county.

I ask you all to support the club in our efforts to host this great event. We expect to have a large number of our professional riders back from the continent to compete for the honor of National Champion.

Entries open from 5 pm tonight (25th May). Big entry expected.

Fantastic route announced along the side of the Blessington cycle Greenway then Valleymount Ballyknocken , Lacken around the beautiful Lake Drive. Finish on Main Street Blessington.

June 25th M40/M50/M60.
June 26th elite women & senior men including U23..

TT course will be agreed later in week but entries are open now.

Has anyone who is planning on racing entered yet?
I just want to check that the registration is working!

Did anyone have any issues with signing up to the Masters 40 with an A3 licence? I've got a query from a rider and just was wondering if its ok for others for registering?

I've just signed up for the M40's. The plan is to (try) follow Diarmuid and Kilians wheels for at least the first lap :-0
