What is it?: Skinsuit with pockets (practical) - LS or SS
How much?: They are €100 with a €50 deposit required for your order to be processed.
How does this work?: Once we hit 10, I'll start asking for deposits and leave the order open for a further 2 days. After that, it will be closed and sent to the supplier.
When is it due?: I'll have a better estimate once we hit 10, but generally 6 to 8 weeks barring any difficulties.
And now the important part!
What do I need to do?:
- Reply below. State the size, quantity and preference for LS or SS
- If you're not fussy, then tell me! The big stumbling block is the sleeve length, so be specific.
- Once we hit 10 of one type, that's it. I'll ask for deposits.
- Place your deposit in an envelope, clearly marked with name/order/amount and drop it to me or the shop. CASH or CHEQUE only. Cheques made payable to "Orwell Wheelers".
- Done!
Any questions...email me!

Thanks for opening this again.
1 Large skinsuit with short sleeves.
If the sleeve length is an issue I am happy to get long ones instead.
Thank you.

I'd take a Small LS suit preferably. But if everyone wants SS I don't mind.
Thanks!

That's fine Orla. Just to clarify, I didn't mention it... These are based on the men's shorts sizing.

Please don't panic and start sending multiple emails...it's all good. You can do that if the order has been submitted and you didn't get a reply!

From looking through the previous thread it seems that they are the 1st type.

Are these skinsuits basically the normal TT skinsuits with pockets on them or are they more like the Castelli type which are basically a jersey stiched onto shorts?
From looking through the previous thread it seems that they are the 1st type.
They are exactly as described: regular skinsuit with some pockets on the back. These are not a speedsuit (way more expensive and really only useful for TT specialists) nor are they the Castelli version. It's essentially the same as the Castelli kit though, the difference being that the Castelli version is more suitable for higher temps as you can unzip it like a jersey...bit harder in a skinsuit.

Manuel Fontan Garcia - SS Med
"Please add a short sleeve one for myself.
M size.
Didn't read the full post. I thought the order was not yet done.
If there is any chance of getting a new order or there is any spare M short sleeve skinsuit I will take it gladly."
Could someone contact Manuel and ask him to confirm his interest, as he does not seem to be on the forum much?

Unfortunately he wasn't on the last order. I don't really have another way of collecting orders right now (working on it!), so it's the responsibility of members to check the forum regularly to keep abreast of any orders.
We do try and publicise as much as possible through twitter/facebook/home page, but I understand that people still miss the orders.
I'm sure you can appreciate that it would be a full time job to go around and contact every members individually. My advice is always to check the forum, once a week should be plenty.
If Manuel can email me about this order I'll add him to the list.

So now we just need to convince 2 people to change from LS to SS or a different two to change from SS to LS!
Cheers,
Diarmuid.
