Thanks to Shane for putting this together!

I have some rain capes that belong to the racing reps which will be present tomorrow night. I will be busy with the kit collection so as long as people are happy to come and try them on without much assistance, please do.

sizes available: M/L/XL/XXL

The general rule is that you should go a size up from your (men's) jersey size. If you have ordered a women's jersey, it's probably the same size:

Men: S jersey -> M cape
Women: M jersey -> M cape

The reason for this is that the material isn't very elastic and won't stretch to fit.

These are pretty cool pieces of kit though: water resistant and they roll up really small for easy storage in a jersey pocket.

Price: €60 (€30 deposit required upon order)

NOTE: I just told Shane that I won't be running an order tomorrow night - on second thought I can and it probably makes more sense.

If you want one, please drop your deposit into the shop tomorrow night (€30) and I'll add it to the skinsuit order. Not to delay anyone who ordered a skinsuit, if you haven't registered your interest by Wednesday, the order will be going ahead without you!

Hi Michael, would there be the potential of doing the same for the shoe covers or any of the rest of the kit too?

Thanks,
Darragh

@Darragh: Unfortunately we have plenty of Spin 11 overshoes in stock. Until these are gone, I can't order VR ones.

@Tommy: There will be a general kit order in mid March. Keep an eye on the forum for more information closer to the date.

Orders for new items that we haven't stocked before (rain capes, hydras) or are "specialty" items (skinsuits) can be done on this kind of basis, for everything else you will have to wait for the club order. I'm working on what times of the year are best, it might end up being:

New season order => early Dec order for mid Feb delivery
Summer order => Mid March order for mid May delivery
Winter order => mid August order for mid Oct delivery

Any chance of a photo or sketch of the rain cape?

Edit: Never mind - just saw it on the kit thread.

Guys, just remember to read my post above...this order will be going in quickly. If you want one:
  • Specify size
  • Drop deposit into the shop (and confirm that you will be doing so)
Unfortunately I can't add you to the order without this information.

Hi all,

At the moment I have 23 people "interested", which varies between "I'll take one" and "count me in".

Unfortunately I can't translate that into an order for the supplier.

To be fair to everyone who has replied with a confirmed size and paid the deposit, I'll be ordering their rain capes and then padding out the minimum order of 10 with some random sizes. These will then be available for everyone else to purchase on a first come first served basis.

Again, if you want a rain cape => PLEASE REPLY WITH YOUR SIZE AND CONFIRMATION OF DEPOSIT BY NOON WED (24/02/2016)

e.g. "Yes, I'd like a M rain cape, I'll drop the 30 euro into the shop tomorrow"

Otherwise it will be mid March before the next order goes in.
