Due to a requirement that all delegates be a member of the club for three months prior to the EGM, Michael Hanley is unable to act as a voting delegate. He will instead attend as an observer, and I'll be acting as a voter. I was planning on attending as an observer anyway.

All other delegates have confirmed their eligibility and attendance.

Dan's already linked to the result, but just wanted to say thanks to the guys who took the time to represent the club today - Barry, Dick, Paul, Tom, Tommy and er, me. Both Barry and Dick made contributions, and spoke well.

Thanks also to Michael Hanley for volunteering as well, though a procedural issue prevented him from acting as a delegate.

I have to say that whatever your opinion of the CI board's support for Pat McQuaid, the organisation and conduct of the egm today was above reproach. Well done to CI for a fair and balanced discussion despite their own stated support for the motion.

I've decided to give up trying to become famous by race results, and concentrate on rabble rousing instead. It's easier and there's a lot less pain involved.
