Dates for your diary- Autumn/Winter 2012

Most of these dates will get their own thread closer to the time, but for the moment here is as complete a list of events as we have right now.

September
21st - End of season social
25th - Club kit order night
29th - Cycling Leinster AGM

October
7th - Winter spins start back again
15th - Orwell AGM
20th/21st - Winter weekend away

November
3rd - Cycling Ireland AGM
11th - Gerry Brannigan Randonnee
17th - Cycling Ireland prize night

December
9th - Club league Christmas race (just for paid up league members)
14th or 15th - Christmas party (to be confirmed)
23rd - Orwell Christmas race (all welcome, same format as last year)

There will also be a series of coaching nights over the next few months on subjects including Winter training, Nutrition, Bike maintenance and Event preparation. Dates for these will be added in as we have them.

First timers are absolutely welcome, and are free to come out for up to three spins before signing up to Orwell or Cycling Ireland.

Unlicenced newcomers will have to sign a sign-on sheet before each spin, though if they have a CI licence of any sort they are welcome to come out with us until the membership night.

All newcomers should read the conditions on the club spins info page before coming along, particularly that it is mandatory for each rider to wear a hard shell helmet while on club spins.

Christmas Hamper Race to be held on Sunday 9th December.
Sign on from 9.30. Race start at 10.30am.
Route will be 2 – 3 laps of the Mullagh.
Tea & Sandwiches to be held in Cafferys Pub after the race.
