All in a day's racing...!

You might think you have to put up with a lot in the club races, what with traffic and other riders pushing you around, but that's nothing compared to what happened to this unfortunate rider in an mtb race in South Africa a couple of days ago.

Great stuff! I remember Ciaran McKenna (Mick's brother) being cleaned out of it by a deer in a park gallop in, I think, 1984. Ciaran was halfway down a lineout as we whizzed past. The deer just raced across the road and Ciaran was the one in the way. Then someone drove over his bike afterwards...
