Condolences to all the Tansey family on Joe's passing. He was a legendary figure in the Dublin business community. Sad news. He seemed like a permanent fixture, part of the fabric of Dundrum. Even before I got involved in cycling I knew that Joe was a Very Important Person around the village. The last time I saw him was at the cancelled Christmas race in Brittas, and I was looking out through Rudolf's eyes...
Condolences to all the family.

My last memory of Joe was when he helped me (along with Paul) after hitting the ice in Blessington just before the (cancelled)Christmas race a few short weeks ago. A true gentleman, ar dheis De a raibh a anam.

We have a new request for club members who will be attending the Funeral tomorrow to bring club jerseys again. Thanks to everyone who made it this evening, it was good to see so many of the club there.
