Please note that there will be a Women's championship only if we get five female starters.
Parking is to be at Black Bull, which is here: goo.gl/maps/8i3d1
It's not a bad cycle from town - maybe folk could post here if they're heading out, have a group spin out with some experienced riders who know where they're going.
If you do drive out please remember not to block any access to private houses. This area is used frequently, so keeping the neighbours happy is important.
Advanced sign on is by way of this thread , and then show up at the start 5 minutes before your appointed time.
The start and finish will be on the Trim road near the cottages that are on the RHS heading to Batterstown. The course is out to the roundabout and back. ridewithgps.com/routes/2435003
Same rules as R1 apply - aero bikes and equipment are allowed, and no drafting. If you catch another rider (good for you!) check that there is no traffic coming up behind you before pulling out, and give them loads of room as you pass. Remember they may have no notion that you're steaming through until you have actually passed them. On the other hand, if you are caught, keep on going at your own pace, don't be tempted to try sit on to the rider who has passed you.
Please don't hassle the timekeepers for your time- there's no problem asking, but make sure to do it at a time when there aren't any riders coming in.

Thanks to all the organisers and Marshall's for looking after us in the rain, and Dave Mc's seeded start times worked smoothly.
I left a set of training wheels around the car park area afterwards, not sure if anybody spotted them or picked the up?

Amazing time Dick, well done! Can't wait for the 40k TT to see what damage you'll do there.

Great results all round considering the weather, and well deserved win for Dick O Brien. That time will take some beating.

Hey Pat, I picked them up, only just spotted them as I was driving by so you got lucky. Can drop them off to you tomorrow evening or on Saturday. Guessing you'll need them for Sunday.

As always, thanks to the marshals - it's no fun standing around on street corners on a night like that. And Dave Mc who has the times up before many of us even get home, and then formatting, with improvements et al. Some man!

It's great to see so many people post personal bests. Ride of the night for me was Fionn, who as far as I know took a minute and a half off his previous best with the exact same equipment as last time. To see that kind of improvement purely in form is phenomenal.

It's great for the club to see the times consistently improving, especially Dick and Fionn - fair play lads, am expecting to see both of you break 21 minutes this time next year!

To echo everyone else's comments. Thanks to all the marshals and organisers. It's always appreciated by those who race on the Thursday nights.
