After a slightly fallow period over the previous couple of  weeks, Orwell’s open racers hit a purple patch of form in Stamullen last weekend despite many of the prize winners carrying fatigue of a sustained block of racing.

Newcomer Eric Downey stole the limelight by taking a win in his very first road race at last night's club league in Brittas.

Orwell's star Under 16 Rachel Kaye Mellor has been honoured with selection on the Irish team journeying to the Girls Youth Tour of Scotland this weekend.

 

 

Orwell Wheelers will be running its annual randonnée this year on Saturday May 5th, an earlier date than usual but over the same challenging route through the Wicklow Mountains. 

Orwell's emerging talent produced the best results after a hard day of racing at the Ben McKenna Memorial race in Balbriggan last Sunday.

Orwell's A3 and A4 racers were to the fore on Saturday and Sunday last with top results posted in Dunshaughlin and Carlow.

Showing that her form is developing well, Michelle Geoghegan finished safely in the big group in the Women’s Gent Wevelgem on Sunday.
