IVCA Ten Mile TT Championships, Saturday 20th June

Stephen McNally was one of just three Scratch riders to overhaul the Limit group in the IVCA 70km handicap on the Curragh last Sunday, the Dunboyne based supervet finishing in thoroughbred style to take his second win of the season on the arduous Boston Hill circuit.

McNally edged Scratch group breakaway partners Paul Dolan and Sean Bracken of the Usher Irish Road Club to take the honours with Brian McNamara 11th and second of the group B riders. Ciara Lyons was a place further back, and first Group A rider home.

McNally set second fastest time in the IVCA ten mile championships at Enfield the day before and eighth on handicap, recording 23.04 in windy conditions. He finished one place in front of Robbie Lawless on actual time and handicap.
