McNulty and Connors on form in Donegal

National 'B' Road Race Championships, Ballyliffin, Co Donegal, Sunday 30th August

Gary McNulty and Odhran Connors made the most of the long trip to Donegal for the National B Road Race Championships when they finished fifth and tenth, respectively.

McNulty, recently upgraded to B status in a stellar comeback season, will carry useful points into next season after finishing third in the uphill sprint to the line behind two riders who had escaped the clutches of the bunch on a testing course.

Connors, meanwhile, continues to show strong form after completing his maiden FBD Ras this season and was always active in the 60 mile event on his way to tenth place.
