Orwell Juniors Patrick O'Sullivan and Killian O'Brien featured at the Boyne Grand Prix, with Yvonne Doran and Cahir O'Higgins also earning results this weekend.

O'Sullivan took a fine sixth place in the A3 race at Drogheda Wheelers' Boyne GP on Sunday, going two better than last week when he was eighth in Newbridge. Fellow Junior Killian O'Brien took 10th spot in the same race and was probably unlucky not to have been higher since he was in the break of the day for most of the race only to be reabsorbed in the closing stages.

In the A1/A2 race Ronan Grimes spent most of the day up the road in a group of seven but they were reeled in on the last lap. Cahir O’Higgins stepped up to take a result for Orwell, netting fifth unplaced A2.

Meanwhile in Carrick-on-Suir on St Patrick's Day, Yvonne Doran continued her all-action start to the season by taking the first woman prize at a rain-soaked Tommy Sheehan Cup.
