The Orwell Wheelers Randonnée is back for 2017, this year its got a little brother!

As has become tradition, it's taking place Saturday 29th April, the bank holiday weekend, with start and finish at Lansdowne / Wesley rugby club on Ballycorus road. We've gone with the same route as last year but are now including a shorter option for those that may feel it's a hill too far for them.

This shorter route will still include Sally Gap, Laragh and Wicklow Gap and before you think we're getting soft, even the 'easy' route will take in Sally Gap for a second time!

Again, we're very proud to be associated with the Ross Nugent Foundation our chosen charity.

Both routes are fantastic warm-ups for the Wicklow 200 or a standalone challenge for anyone. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Numbers are limited to 400 so please enter early to avoid disappointment. We will not be taking entries on the day. Both routes are €35 for Cycling Ireland members. For non-Cycling Ireland members, there is an extra €5 to take out a One-Day License.

There will be a social event after the Randonnée in the Golden Ball in Stepaside at 18:30.

Thanks to our friends at Blueface for coming on board to support the Randonnée again this year! It's a sign of a great event when sponsors are happy to help out for another year. With their help the Randonnée continues to grow each year and is up there with the best events in the country (we like to say the best but we are biased!!). Check out blueface.com for more information on what our sponsors do.
