While the race reports will be slow to come in from tired riders, one Orwell member recovered well enough from her weekend efforts to share with us the tale of the Étape Rás Mumhan - Ann Horan's account is below!

A weekend of great weather for cycling meant plenty of miles in the legs for leisure riders. Below we bring you two accounts, first Kevin Connaire takes us through the Sligo Champions Sportive, and then Eamonn Eaton describes the Tour de Foothills, where Orwell riders made up about 10% of the total turnout!

The Leisure cyclist of the Year 2014 participation based event kicked off this weekend with the Ardattin 200, as well as several randonée events around the country. Greg Farrell shares his first audax experience below!

Many of the members of Orwell took part in the epic Wicklow 200 of 2011. The conditions were horrendous and many of the cyclists who signed up for the event quite understandably did not complete the course. Here are the stories from 2 first-timers who survived the day and lived to tell.
