So now we have a nice little group of 18 managers. All the big names are here. Special welcome to The Tankster! Missing some of the relegation battlers from the Giro, have they given up on the world of fantasy?! C'mon Tony, Zippy and Ragazzi Freddie, you know you want to! Also, Dowler is missing. He must still be crying after his last effort ;-) Not to repeat myself but who is Hippo2016? Also, Not a Hill? Great name by the way. I have highlighted the men with no name and I think I have the rest right. Please let me know who you are as this is not a secret ballot for Brexit and just a bit of craic. More importantly, if you win we must know your identity to claim your prize (details to follow). Is it fair to say that we only have one lady again?! Surely the girls can do better than that and could show us a thing or two about man management...

Bonjour les Gars (nothing to do with Gar),

Where do I begin? From a personal point of view the last few days have been an emotional roller coaster. On Saturday I was annihilated by my dear brother up Shay Elliot for The KOM for the Beast 2016, Chapeau Gar! Unfortunately, Gar didn't make the podium for the first time since the Beast began in 2011, dommage!

The following day I went over to his Gar's place to watch the Tour and he greets me with, "No changes?! You fool!". I suddenly realised that although I had done my transfers in a bike brained state the night before straight after the beast, I had clearly not confirmed them properly. I even had Stuyven! Anyway, the end result was a drop of 10 places from 3rd to 13th! Luckily, I recovered from this somewhat yesterday. The moral of the story is to monitor your team closely and make sure you confirm the changes properly, especially on a mobile.

So, things have really heated up and it looks like it will be another great Tour making for a great fantasy league. I hope you are all enjoying it so far and if you have any questions, please ask. A special mention to Barry Mooney who shot to first place last night and will now wear the Yellow Jersey for the first time, Chapeau Baz! Also, Kudos to Dan Coulcher who joined the league late but is still competing, watch and learn as he overtakes you like he did in the Beast ;-)

My cunning plan is working. Was hoping for more than a 1 point lead but I'll happily take the podium spot for now.

This is a disaster, I'm just above the relegation spots. F&€?ing Tony Gallopin, waste of space. At least I had Allaphilippe today.

Well that's me almost done for this years race. I've used my remaining transfers (bar one) to pick a balanced team of strong GC/jersey riders. After spending most of yesterdays stage screaming at my phone, willing Cummings onto a stage win and the shed load of points he'll get me, I was gutted to find I removed him from my team that morning thinking it was too hard a stage for one of his mad stage hunts. This game drives my mad at times. So now I can relax and enjoy Le Tour and see what points I'll pick up along the way. I'll be happy to beat my Giro placing.
