Kit Order - Skinsuits with pockets

What: Skinsuits designed for racing with pockets at the rear
When: Delivery estimated for mid-April
How much: €100 (€50 deposit required on order)

Putting together an order for some skinsuits with pockets, minimum order of 10 is required in order to proceed. I currently have one person interested, but I know there will be plenty more out there who may have missed the last kit order!



Why a skinsuit? If you're looking for every little bit of an advantage in a race, a skinsuit will help you be more aerodynamic. They also look a lot better than shorts and a jersey!

Why one with pockets? Having somewhere to hide a bar or your car keys can make them more practical when you turn up to Corkagh park. You also have somewhere to pin your numbers that isn't under the same tension as the rest of the suit and so you're less likely to damage the clothing over time.

How do I order one? Register your interest below, once we hit 10 people then I will ask for you to get the deposit to me and the order will go in. If we do it this week, we're looking at mid-April delivery, so you will get plenty of racing out of it this year!

Also, if you could give me your SIZE and preference for LONG or SHORT sleeve...we'll have to go with the majority though. Personally I'd go for short sleeves, you can always stick some thin arm warmers under it.

Are these short or long sleeved? How does the sizing compare to the existing shorts and s/s jersey? Oh and do you know when the new kit that we ordered is due to arrive?

@Ken: These can be either short or long sleeved, I'd say short is probably more useful, I'll update the OP. Sizing would be based off your size in the VR shorts. That's what Aidan recommended for the winter skinsuits and it worked out well. The only information I have regarding the order is that it's due this week, nothing more concrete at the moment.

@Freddie: As above. Did you try on any of the VR kit? If you didn't and you're unsure of sizing, I can get you some kit to try on when the order arrives. Failing that, I can see if Velorevolutions have a skinsuit you could try on for size.

This is men and women, the chamois is just added in after, so no problem at all.

I honestly can't say. It should be due this week, mid Feb was always the estimate and I haven't been given any notice of a delay. As soon as it lands in Ireland I'll be able to provide concrete details.
