As you can see, we've brought on board the Irish Hospice this year as our chosen charity so they will be getting a significant portion of the entry fee.
We've changed the route slightly to remove the Moneystown road which should make most people happy!
Online entries will open on the 4th of July through the site.
Finally, we plan on having a BBQ at the end rather than the sit down meal that we had last year.
If anyone wants a poster to put up in their workplace/local bike shop, let me know and I'll sort it out for you.
Any questions, let me know.

Just another reminder for your diaries that our own Club Randonee is on on Sunday 7th August.
We had a great turn out from the club last year and would encourage as many members as possible to participate this year. This is the clubs main sportive of the year and is being run in aid of the Irish Hospice Foundation this year.
At 135km its generally the same route as last year with the same climbs of Glencree, Djouce, Sallygap and Shay Elliot.
This is a great day out on the bike to support both your club and a very worthwhile cause and is fully supported with changing facilities, lunch stop and support vans etc.
I think Stephen McNally's forum post after the event last year summed up the day perfectly.
Anyone who had any part in organising yesterday's Randonée, take a bow!
It was, without question, one of the most enjoyable days I have spent on a bike in a long time. Of course the fantastic weather helped, but the planning, organisation, marshalling, road-markings, lead-car, food etc.. were all top notch. The entire day seemed to go perfectly.
Everyone should do this event, it's definitely worth skipping one racing Sunday out of the season for!!
Well done again folks...

As we are only a few days away from our annual Club Randonee this Sunday, can we ask as many club members as possible who are planning to ride this event to sign on and register on the website today or tomorrow. To register click here
There are a lot of club members who have said that they are riding the event who have not yet registered and this will help us to get a better handle on likely numbers so that we can make final plans for catering for the foodstop and also for the bar-b-q at the finish area.
Thanks again and look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday.

The marshalling, road-markings and foodstop were all excellent, and I think the current route could well be a future classic, with plenty of testing bits but nothing that'll kill anyone. Everyone should mark this one off on their calender for next year as one of their must do events.
Well done all, you've produced an event that we can all be proud of.
