Mullingar proved a happy hunting ground for several Orwell riders over the weekend with Anne Dalton, Eric Downey and Ed O’Mahony in the chase for overall honours and Barry Dunne finding his sprinting form for a breakthrough stage win in the Lakeside Wheelers’ 2-Day Stage Races.

Following on from the success of the Youth Mini-league held in Corkagh park in May, Orwell Wheelers will be hosting another three rounds of youth racing in July.

Dundrum Town Centre Orwell Wheelers are gearing up for the promotion of Ireland's top annual criterium, the Stephen Roche Grand Prix on Wednesday 20th June at Meadowmount

After three tough stages of racing, Orwell's Rás team is acquitting itself very well at the An Post Rás, with team captain Brian Ahern in the prizes on today's Stage Three into Westport.

Orwell Wheelers will be sending a strong team to this year's An Post Rás, with four riders making their debut in the premier event on the Irish cycling calendar.

Orwell's Odhran Connors was rewarded for a strong ride the Shay Elliott Memorial by finishing in the prizes, as sixth unplaced A2.
