  • Kinch clinches 2nd in Navan

The weather could not have been more different, but Orwell riders brought home the bacon both days last weekend. In Summerhill, Tom Blennerhassett, David Halpin and Brian McNally lit it up on Dorey's Forge, while in Navan Ciara Kinch tore it up for second place, while Juniors Rachael Kaye-Mellor and Naoise Sheridan also took home prizes.

  • Mick Lally Memorial

A great day for the Orwell, with the A4 win for Raffaele Bonadio on his racing debut, and Eoin Ahern making a strong start also with 3rd. Stephen Barry spent the A3 race in a break of two, taking the prime and 2nd place for his efforts, while Sean Murnane won the unplaced Junior prize.

  • Well wrapped women suffer snowy start

There's a touch of déjà vu about the results this weekend, with both Conor Murnane and Chris Mollaghan taking the only Orwell placings. That did wonders for their ranking points, with Murnane topping the Juniors for a day, and Mollaghan making his way into A3. The snow in Navan was the only thing on people's minds though, with five Orwell women making their débuts in the cold! Read on to see how they fared!
