    The weekend was a busy one despite the lack of a St Patrick's Day race, and a very successful one - with two top ten finishes and a magnificent 6th overall for Tom Blennerhassett in Rás Maigh Eo, and Philippe Bourdarias taking 4th on the final stage. In Slane, Orla Hendron stayed out of trouble in the women's race to take 4th, and Mark Mulcahy earned 5th in the A4s. Off-road, the club had two top ten finishes in Ticknock with Jamal Ahmed and Eric Downey.

  • Davenport dances away with Roche GP

    The Stephen Roche GP treated onlookers to some spectacular entertainment last night, with family-friendly novice races, a set of youth races, and the headline event being shaped by several moves before James Davenport (SDCC) jumped well clear to take a superb win, all in the company of the man himself, Stephen Roche.

  • Sensational Sheridan!

    A weekend’s worth of racing in Roundwood paid dividends for Fionn Sheridan, taking two prizes, including the coveted Kieran Hammond trophy. Keith Harte and David Maher placed in the Roundwood GP, while several members scored results in the Hammond Memorial TT event. And last week in the league, Uisneach Sheridan, Paul Tansey and Brian Ahern won the sprints in Corkagh Park.

  • The fountain of youth

    The Youth and Junior members of the club have been extremely active and successful over the last few weeks, not least on the track! Below we cover the prolific road exploits of Ciaran Keogh, Andrew Ryan, Naoise and Uisneach Sheridan, and Conor and Sean Murnane, with the latter giving us an account of his experiences at the National Youth Championships.

  • The young and the restless

    A couple of great results from the younger ranks in the last few weeks - Conor Murnane earned the unplaced Junior prize in Clonard two weeks ago, followed by Ciarán Keogh's fantastic 4ths in two rounds of the U16 MTB Blitz. Yesterday both Andrew Ryan and Sean Murnane featured in their respective races in the Des Hanlon!
